The Mustad 39948NP-BN circle hook is larger than the equivalent 39960ST-DT circle hooks; the 10/0 is the same size as a 14/0 Mustad 39960 but with the gape of a 16/0, while the 12/0 is the same as a 16/0 but with the gape of a 18/0 Mustad 39960. Made from finer wire than the Mustad 39950 with a chemically sharpened point and a tough black nickel finish they’re an ideal circle hook for blue shark and for bait fishing for sailfish & marlin and are approved by the Billfish Foundation for tournament use.
