Mustad 39943NP-BN are the strongest circle hooks that we sell. Sizing is larger than the equivalent Mustad 39960 and similar to the Mustad 39948 and Mustad 39950. The slightly offset bend gives a great hook up ratio but does mean that this hook isn’t approved by the Billfish Foundation for tournament use. The 4x extra strength and extra short shank combined with the chemically sharpened point and tough black nickel finish make this the ultimate heavy tackle circle hook, excellent for giant bluefin.
