Description Springfield .45 ACP 4″ Guide Rod & Spring Kit (22# Commander Spring) This product fits: EMP 4″ Lightweight Champion .40 S&W EMP 4″ Concealed Carry Contour .40 S&W Champion Operator Lightweight .45 ACP Range Officer Compact .45 ACP Range Officer Champion .45 ACP Range Officer Elite Compact .45 ACP Range Officer Elite Champion .45 ACP Overall Length: 3.052″ Rod Diameter: .25″ Guide Rod Material: Stainless Steel Reverse Plug Material and Finish: Blued Carbon Steel Recoil Spring Type: 22lb Flat Wire Commander Spring .45 ACP and .40 S&W This kit reduces recoil and increases longevity of the spring system in Springfield 4″ guns. If you have a 9mm S&W you will need the kit with the 14lb flat wire spring. The kit includes a 1/4″ guide rod, reverse plug and ISMI flat recoil spring. All systems use a 1/4″ guide rod made from solid barstock with a take down hole. Reverse plugs are Blued carbon steel. Meant for use in Springfield 4″ .45 ACP & .40 S&W 1911’s only. This will work on the Range Officer Compact and Springfield Champion. Some older model Springfields used a different style reverse plug. Our kit does not work with these older models.     Related
